JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Data preparation and analysis based on requirements:
- Data set is financial (procurement process invoiced spend, preferential procurement spend) and supplier master data
- Spreadsheet-based data preparation and presentation (e.g. summaries, pivot tables, look ups, charting, etc)
- Data finalisation for input to financial and other reporting (e.g. B-BBEE Preferential Procurement reporting, NMP Spend Data for Strategic Sourcing initiatives)
- SAP, Coupa and BEE123 data gathering and clarification of data
- Data investigations to identify root causes of master data and spend data issues
- Correction of master data issues to prevent repeating issues in subsequent reporting periods
- Initiative support to Strategic Sourcing
- Stakeholder follow up and information / requirements gathering
- Taking and preparing minutes of meetings
- Preparing initiative documentation (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) for reporting and initiative execution
- Internet-based research and information summary preparation
- Scheduling meetings / NMP calendar coordination
- Supplier engagement
- BEE certificate follow up and submission for non-Coupa suppliers (e.g. Properties, Tapestry, etc.)
- Gathering of information for Strategic Sourcing initiatives
- Clarifying supplier master data issues
- Reviewing of incoming new supplier requests & directing it to appropriate recipients
- Creating and maintaining referenceable database of enquiring suppliers in support of new & preferential procurement supplier identification
- Additional responsibility will be allocated based on progress
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom or equivalent, preferably with a focus on Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Previous experience analysing and reporting on financial data from procurement processes will be advantageous
- Understanding of financial principles
- Interest in procurement, supply chain, project management, business analysis as possible career options as exposure to all areas will be gained in the position
Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Excellent written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfort to interact with multiple stakeholders inside and outside TFG
- Attention to detail and comfort working with large amounts of data
