Key Responsibilities of SAB Learnership Candidates

Customer Development
- Build and maintain professional relationships with tavern owners.
- Conduct weekly customer visits to identify opportunities, address issues, and ensure regular purchases from SAB.
- Ensure customer data is accurate and up to date.
- Achieve sales targets and grow brand presence in key outlets.
Merchandising & Promotions
- Monitor stock levels to ensure 100% availability of key SAB brands.
- Manage stock rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
- Implement in-store promotions and pricing strategies as per SAB’s In Trade Execution Guidelines (ITEG).
- Track and improve shelf space allocation and product visibility.
Asset & Stock Management
- Oversee the use and compliance of SAB refrigeration assets.
- Conduct asset verification checks (e.g., fridges and signage).
- Assist customers in managing stock replenishment and minimizing stockouts.
- Ensure proper product display and rotation.
AMPPS Delivery
- Drive execution of the AMPPS pillars: Availability, Merchandising, Pricing, Promotions, and Space.
- Support the success of marketing campaigns and brand activations.
