Minimum Requirements for the 2025 PathCare Learnership Programme
To qualify for consideration into the PathCare Phlebotomy Technician Learnership, applicants must meet the specific educational and competency criteria as follows:
Educational Requirements:
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) – Grade 12 is mandatory
- Must have achieved:
- Life Science/Biology ≥ 50% or HBM (Human and Biological Sciences) ≥ 60%
- Mathematics ≥ 40% or
- Mathematical Literacy ≥ 60%
- Must have achieved:
- Language and Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must also be able to understand basic Afrikaans
