Job Purpose

The purpose of the SAB Learnership Programme is to implement a market-driven, differentiated service strategy that builds sustainable competitiveness within the Tavern Class of Trade. The role focuses on driving long-term growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage, and corporate reputation.

Key Skills and Competencies

Commercial Aptitude

  • Strong understanding of the sales and marketing value chain and how these functions work together
  • Ability to proactively gather and analyse competitor information to enhance sales strategies
  • Understanding of profitability, including pricing, product mix, and merchandising to support informed commercial decisions

  • Conducting weekly customer visits to strengthen partnerships and resolve issues
  • Ensuring customer master data is accurate, up to date, and properly maintained

  • Ensuring outlets consistently purchase directly from SAB on a weekly basis
