The Value Group Logistics Learnerships 2026 programme offers unemployed South African youth a valuable opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Value Group is committed to improving access to education, skills development, and workplace training, helping young people become employable in the logistics and supply chain operations sector.

This 12-month learnership programme runs from 2 March 2026 to 28 February 2027 and combines structured classroom training with practical workplace experience in a real operational environment.

About the Value Group Learnership Programme

Participants will be enrolled in the Occupational Certificate: Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF 5). The programme is designed to develop essential skills required in the logistics industry, including supply chain operations, distribution, and warehouse management.

Successful learners will gain hands-on experience while working toward a recognised occupational qualification.

Recruitment and Selection Process

Applicants for the Value Group Logistics Learnerships 2026 will go through the following selection stages:

  • Face-to-Face Interview: Panel interviews conducted at the relevant regional offices
  • Literacy and Numeracy Assessments: Tests to assess basic competency levels
  • Criminal Background Check: Verification as part of the recruitment process

Learnership Structure and Programme Details

  • Classroom Training: One week per month of theoretical and practical training
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00 (overtime may be required)
  • Workplace Experience: On-the-job training in a logistics and supply chain operational environment
  • EISA Examination: Learners must complete and pass the EISA exam at the end of the programme
  • Monthly Stipend: A stipend is provided to assist with travel to the workplace site

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Value Group Learnerships 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Between 21 and 29 years old
  • Education: Matric Certificate with a minimum 50% pass rate
  • Employment Status: Unemployed South African youth
