Learnership Overview

The Coca-Cola Learnership aims to equip participants with the skills required to service customers, increase product sales, support merchandising activities, and assist with order-taking processes. Learners will work closely with experienced sales professionals while gaining industry-recognised experience.

Qualification Credits: 120 Credits

Key Responsibilities

In-Store Merchandising and Sales Support

Successful learners will be responsible for:

  • Executing daily call schedules across assigned retail outlets.
  • Implementing merchandising standards and maintaining in-store displays.
  • Ensuring product availability, visibility, and quality according to company standards.
  • Conducting stock rotation and monitoring shelf compliance.
  • Completing iRED surveys and supporting RED execution scorecard requirements.
  • Assisting customers with placing orders through the MyCCBA platform.
  • Supporting promotional campaigns and brand activation initiatives.
  • Providing relief support when required by management.

Working Relationships

Learners will interact with:

  • Sales Team Members – Collaborating on daily sales and merchandising activities.
  • Sales Account Developers – Receiving coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Consumers and Customers – Understanding buying behaviour and customer preferences.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Coca-Cola Learnership Programme 2026, applicants must:

  • Have a Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40% pass rate).
  • Have passed English and a second language in Grade 12 (minimum 40% pass rate).
  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Be available to work six days per week.
  • Have no criminal record or adverse credit history.
  • Consent to criminal, identity, and qualification verification checks.
  • Not be enrolled in any current learnership, internship, or full-time studies.
  • Not have previously completed the same qualification or learnership programme.
  • A valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
  • A post-matric qualification in Sales and Marketing will be beneficial.
