The Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) invites applications for its transformative Principalisation Programme 2025, designed to support the professional advancement of Previously Disadvantaged Non-Principal Property Practitioners (NPPP). A total of 27 candidates will be selected to participate in this development initiative, which includes enrollment for the Professional Designation Examination (PDE) Level 5.

This structured 12-month programme aims to build capacity in the real estate sector by equipping property practitioners with the tools and qualifications needed to become principal property practitioners. This is a unique opportunity to elevate your real estate career through accredited training, financial support, and practical experience.

Who Should Apply for the PPRA Principalisation Programme 2025?

This opportunity is specifically open to Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDIs) who are currently practicing non-principal property practitioners seeking to upskill and progress into a principal role within the real estate industry in South Africa.

Minimum Entry Requirements for the PPRA Principalisation Programme 2025:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • A valid Grade 12 certificate (Matric),
    • NQF Level 4 and NQF Level 5 Real Estate qualifications,
    • An Education Exemption Letter from the PPRA (if applicable).
  • PDE Competency:
    • Must have successfully completed PDE Level 4.
  • Valid Registration:
    • A current Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) issued by the PPRA for the year 2025.
  • Professional Documentation:
    • A Letter of Employment from your current employer confirming active involvement in the property sector.
    • A Letter of Competency confirming successful completion of the Logbook/Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) requirement.

  • A certified copy of your South African ID.
  • A comprehensive and updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • A copy of your current Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC).

Financial Support – Monthly Stipend

Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of R5,000 throughout the 12-month training programme to assist with living and professional development expenses.
