What is the Triton Academy Learnerships Programme 2025?
The Triton Academy National Certificate: Freight Handling Learnership is a comprehensive, structured programme that combines theoretical training and practical workplace experience. It is designed to equip learners with the skills required in the fast-paced logistics and supply chain sector.
Key Training Activities and Responsibilities:
As part of the learnership, candidates will participate in the following activities:
- Loading and off-loading goods from delivery vehicles
- Preparing vehicles for transport routes
- Receiving, dispatching, and handling freight documentation
- Conducting general warehouse and transport-related duties
- Picking, packing, and securing stock accurately
- Receiving incoming stock and verifying it against documentation
- Ensuring proper stacking and safety compliance for transported goods
- Delivery and collection of goods
- Maintaining clean and organized workspaces
- Participating in structured classroom-based training
- Gaining real-world experience through on-site practical training
- Preparing for final assessments and external verification
Who Can Apply for the 2025 Triton Academy Learnerships Program?
To be considered for the Triton Academy Freight Handling Learnership 2025, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Hold a Grade 12, TVET N3, or NQF Level 2 qualification
- Minimum 40% pass in Mathematics and English
- Aged between 23 – 35 years
- Medically fit and physically capable of performing duties
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Numerically skilled and detail-oriented
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Reside in one of the following areas: Germiston, Alberton, Boksburg, or Johannesburg
- Available to work from 08:00 to 18:00
Preferred but Not Mandatory:

- Basic computer literacy
- Previous work experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar field
