Clicks Foundation Information Technology Bursary 2026

The Clicks Foundation is inviting eligible South African students to apply for its Information Technology Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year.

The Clicks Foundation Information Technology Bursary 2026 is designed to support academic excellence and advance sustainable development and transformation in South Africa. Aligned with the country’s National Development Plan, this bursary provides financial assistance to deserving undergraduate students with no work-back or contractual obligations.

Fields of Study Supported

The bursary is available to students registered for second- or third-year undergraduate studies in 2026 in the following qualifications:

  • BCom in Computer Science
  • BCom in Information Technology (all specialisations)

Bursary Coverage

The Clicks Foundation IT Bursary covers essential academic expenses for the current year of study, including:

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Prescribed textbooks
  • Study assistance and learning aids, where required

Please note: The bursary does not cover outstanding fees, historical study loans, or costs from previous academic years.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Clicks Foundation Information Technology Bursary, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Be between 19 and 35 years of age
  • Have achieved a minimum academic average of 60%
  • Not hold another bursary or be subject to any bursary obligation
  • Be enrolled at a registered tertiary institution in the Western Cape
