FNB Learnership Requirements 2026

To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be aged between 18 and 34 years
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Hold a Matric certificate (NQF Level 4); higher qualifications (NQF 5–6) are an advantage
  • Be unemployed for at least 6 months
  • Not currently studying
  • Have less than 12 months of work experience (including casual or part-time work)
  • This must be your first formal job experience
  • Must not have participated in the FirstJob programme or worked for FirstRand before
  • Have good English communication skills
  • Have no criminal record or credit blacklisting
  • Be willing to complete a learnership programme
