Key Responsibilities of the YES Learnership Role

As a participant in the Solareff YES Learnership 2025, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing general administrative support to the finance department.
  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes from procurement and supply chain teams into the accounting system.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Managing cashbook transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Sending out monthly customer statements.
  • Generating and processing customer invoices and credit notes.
  • Assisting with various ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Solareff YES Learnership Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification. A post-matric qualification in finance, business administration, or a related field is a strong advantage.
  • Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have been permanently employed by any single employer for more than 12 months.
  • Must not be studying full-time during the learnership period.
  • Must not have previously participated in the YES programme.
  • Strong numerical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
