Key Responsibilities of the YES Learnership Role
As a participant in the Solareff YES Learnership 2025, you will be responsible for:
- Providing general administrative support to the finance department.
- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes from procurement and supply chain teams into the accounting system.
- Maintaining accurate and organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Managing cashbook transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Sending out monthly customer statements.
- Generating and processing customer invoices and credit notes.
- Assisting with various ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the finance team.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Solareff YES Learnership Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have a Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification. A post-matric qualification in finance, business administration, or a related field is a strong advantage.
- Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have been permanently employed by any single employer for more than 12 months.
- Must not be studying full-time during the learnership period.
- Must not have previously participated in the YES programme.
- Strong numerical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
