Internship Position: Intern Customer Support Operator
Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Support Operator Intern, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high availability to respond to customer requests and inquiries.
- Conducting administrative and technical support activities within service operations.
- Processing customer orders and managing service-related inquiries.
- Managing customer order details and updating client records in Siemens’ information systems.
- Escalating complex issues to qualified Service Technicians or Engineers for resolution.
- Collaborating with clients and sales teams to clarify service orders and resolve challenges.
- Assisting in troubleshooting commercial or technical problems.
- Providing pre- and post-sales product support, contributing to successful customer solutions.
- Assisting the Area Service Manager with resource planning and operational tasks.
Learnership Requirements:
To qualify for the Siemens YES Learnership 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A passion for customer service and relationship management.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Prior customer service experience will be advantageous.
