PPC YES Trainee Programme 2025 – Empowering South Africa’s Youth Through Skills and Work Experience
Are you a young, unemployed South African looking for an opportunity to gain valuable work experience and kickstart your career? PPC South Africa is proud to launch the YES (Youth Employment Service) Trainee Programme for 2025—a powerful initiative aimed at developing the skills of unemployed youth and promoting community development through structured, on-the-job training.
About the PPC YES Trainee Programme 2025
The PPC YES Trainee Programme is a 12-month youth employment initiative designed to provide unemployed youth with practical work experience in key operational areas across PPC’s business units. This programme is not only an opportunity to gain essential skills and boost employability, but also a way to positively contribute to South Africa’s economy and communities.
By participating in this programme, candidates will receive comprehensive exposure to the cement and construction materials industry, one of the country’s key infrastructure sectors.
Programme Placement Areas for 2025
Successful candidates will be placed in the following PPC operational sites:
- PPC Aggregates – Mooiplaas: 3 placements
- PPC Aggregates – Laezonia: 1 placement
- PPC Rosebank: 1 placement
- ReadyMix (Various Locations): 3 placements
- Ulula Ash – Kriel: 1 placement
Each of these locations offers a unique learning environment where trainees will be mentored by industry experts and develop hands-on experience in real-world settings.
Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify for the PPC YES Trainee Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently not working
- Be a South African citizen
- Submit a certified copy of your Identity Document (ID)
- Submit a certified copy of your Matric/Grade 12 certificate
- Provide an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Provide proof of residence
These documents are essential to verify your eligibility and ensure fair placement.
