Triton Academy, a TETA-accredited training provider, invites motivated South African youth to apply for a 12-month National Certificate in Freight Handling. This sought-after learnership opportunity offers both theoretical training and hands-on workplace experience to prepare you for a career in the dynamic logistics and supply chain industry.

About the Learnership Programme

The Triton Express Learnership in Freight Handling is designed to equip unemployed youth with industry-specific skills that align with national qualifications. Through a combination of structured learning and practical training, learners will gain valuable experience in freight logistics, warehousing, and transport operations.

Programme Overview:

  • Qualification: National Certificate: Freight Handling (NQF Level 3)
  • Duration: 12 months (Full-time)
  • Stipend: R4,000 per month
  • Components:
    • Accredited theoretical classroom training
    • Workplace-based experiential learning
    • Mentorship and assessment preparation for external verification

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Triton Express Learnership 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Aged between 23 and 35 years
  • Grade 12, TVET N3, or NQF Level 2 qualification (minimum 40% pass in Mathematics and English)
  • Medically fit for physical work
  • Numerically literate and able to read/write in English
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and long hours
  • Clear criminal record
  • Reside in or near:
    • Germiston
    • Alberton
    • Boksburg
    • Johannesburg
